Meet Our Founder
Rachel Hughes, Managing Director and Founder of BuildMe Consultancy, is passionate about fostering personal growth, leadership, and inclusivity. With nearly 20 years as a senior delivery executive at IBM and an MBA from Henley Management College, Rachel brings a wealth of operational expertise to her work.
Rachel shifted her focus to leadership consulting in 2015, combining her first-hand management insight with experience facilitating workshops worldwide. From designing inclusive leadership programmes to mentoring future leaders, Rachel’s work reflects her commitment to inclusion and empowerment.
Rachel brings extensive expertise from her former role as UK Diversity and Inclusion Manager for a FTSE100 company, as well as her experience of leading global diversity strategies and building impactful employee networks. Her commitment to inclusive cultures extends beyond work; she is a Trustee of Theatr Clwyd and previously served as a Trustee with the National Museum of Wales. A qualified executive coach and Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management, Rachel combines strategic insight with a passion for fostering leadership and growth.
